As opponents to the idea that marriage is necessary for a couple to live a long, fulfilled life together, Team OBC is still kinda shocked that Disney rebel Miley Cyrus and her beau, Liam Hemsworth, decided to get engaged, despite the fact that Miley was only 19 at the time of the engagement. Since the engagement, several factors have arisen that seem to imply that maybe they aren’t exactly ready to tie the knot yet.

Like the fact that Miley claimed she wanted to have 3 weddings, which is something a toddler says.
Or the weird thing where Miley and her “best friend” Cheyne Thomas are constantly eye-f*cking each other.
Or the fact that Liam was caught doing a little “flirtation,” maybe even “making out hardcore” with January Jones after the Oscars.
Or that Miley took off her engagement ring for two weeks following the cheating rumors.
And then of course there was that thing where she chopped off all her hair in a weird attempt to distance herself from her Hannah Montana character.

It just really seems like maybe she is still kind of a child trying to find her way in a big bad world where everyone just so happens to be following her every movement, which must be unbelievably difficult.

But then I saw this video this morning of Miley twerking in a unicorn suit, and I thought, “no, this woman is clearly an adult ready to make a life-altering decision. Definitely.”
