Women Think About Food More Than Sex
Macaroni and cheese. Delicious. Wait!! Calories!! Fat!! Diet… oh… and I guess sex.
According to The UK Press Association, that may be the order of importance of the above things to many UK women. They recently reported on a study (done by Atkins, by the way, so keep that in mind), that they claim shows women think more often about food than sex, and put more effort into their diets than their relationships.
Atkins surveyed 1,290 female dieters (ed. note: BIAS! BIAS!) across the UK about their attitudes to dieting and how it affected their relationships.
One in four women admitted they thought dieting was more important than their relationship and said they put more effort into their weight loss attempts than into their relationship with their partner.
One in 10 women would feel guiltier straying from their diet than being unfaithful to their partner.
More than a third of respondents (37.5%) said they thought about food and dieting more than they thought about their partner and more than half (54%) confessed they thought about food more than sex.
YIKES! It seems like the unhealthy desire to be thin might be a reason women aren’t as comfortable with their sex lives as men! So what can we do to change this horrible statistic? It’s equally important that the media stop glorifying unattainable body types, and that we as a culture start embracing healthy living from birth, instead of telling women they need to lose weight or men will think they’re gross… after 30 years of eating crap. It’s just an evil cycle that affects everyone.
You heard it here, dudes. If you want the ladies to be more open to booty calls, you gotta stop comparing her to Megan Fox, and also stop taking her to dinner at Fatty Fat McSteak Burgers. Salad and some sexin – it’s your best bet.
