You know, America really is a big ol’ hypocrite. One minute it’s saying, “hey! Pull yourself up by your bootstraps and get a job and make a life for yourself!” and “the government doesn’t owe you anything!” and “yes ma’am, that uninsured ER visit WILL cost $40,000, how many times are you going to ask?”

And then they see a resourceful, entrepreneurial woman like Jeannette Ellis, who just wanted to make an honest buck to put some food on the table, and the man said no to that too.
