Will Sex Robots Lead to the End of Humanity?
Sex robots have been a hot topic in recent years as developers create new and creepier ways to make silicone and hard drives simulate blow jobs and pillow talk. Introverts and basement dwellers are likely looking forward to the opportunity to get laid without having to actually do anything remotely close to small talk, but some Negative Nancies believe sex robots could mean the end of our human connections.

Yet, such human and robot interactions is not a good idea, said Kathleen Richardson, a senior research fellow in the ethics of robotics at the De Montfort University in the United Kingdom and the founder of the “campaign against sex robots.”
“It’s something we should be very concerned about,” Richardson said, according to CNBC. “If people feel they can have an intimate relationship with a machine, that is saying something serious about how we’re experiencing empathy with each other.”
“We are losing our sense of humanity.”
We agree with Ms Richardson, that the idea of people abandoning flirting and dating and hooking up altogether because they can just get booty from “Roxxxy the Sex Robot” (real name), is terrifying. On the other hand… we bet that mouth can… y’know…. do some STUFF.
