Everyone knows the feeling. Waiting. Waiting. You thought that girl was really into you, but somehow she’s not calling. What is going on? There are several reasons why a lady or gent might not call you back, and here are a couple of them.

1) You guilted her into giving out her number

Every woman has her limit. She gets to a point where she really can’t say no anymore, and in a brain-fart can’t think of a fake number to give you so she just gives in, hoping you’ll lose it or just forget to call her altogether.

2) She figured something out about you that was weird

It’s a Facebook generation, and if you haven’t figured that out yet, do your research a couple posts down. With the help of Facebook, ladies can be virtual Sherlock Holmeses. They can pretty much figure out your life story within three clicks, and if she finds out something she doesn’t like (girlfriend/wife/drug problem) she’s gonna pretend every call from you is a call from a debt collector, and hit the ignore button.

3) She’s dating someone

Drunk girls forget they have boyfriends.

4) She was drunk

You know those stupid posters that show an ugly girl getting cuter as you drink more? Guess what boys: it happens for us, too. The more booze a woman pours into her face, the more likely she is to give you her number. So if you remember her falling over herself as she handed you a slip of paper with her number, chances are she was blacked out and doesn’t have any idea who you are.

5) You were drunk

Even if you managed to charm her into going home with you and had a fun night drunkenly getting to base 2 or 3, it doesn’t mean she’s gonna call you back. Guys are notorious for ignoring girls they’ve hooked up with, but ladies do it too. If you guys hooked up but you were at the slurring stage, it probably means she’s not planning on ever seeing you again.
