Sure, some of them might be heartless money grubbing, demons, but Wall Streeters need some booty just like the rest of us. And according to Business Insider, they may be using their work computers to get some!

The article claims that many Wall Street employees have been using a particular Bloomberg Terminal feature (that’s a computer system that analyzes real time financial market data) to do MORE than just watch stocks. It’s a tiny bell located within the Bloomberg Terminal chat system, and according to the article,

Some Wall Streeters are using a neat Bloomberg Terminal feature as their own version of the Facebook “poke.”

Instead of poking, you “ring someone’s bell.” We’re told by a source that it implies that you’re interested in hooking up.

Of course, this probably wasn’t the intended use for the bell, but we have to give the Wall Streeters credit. In an uptight world of finance, you’ve got to improvise, and “ringing someone’s bell” does have a nice, um, ring to it.
