“Wal-Mart of Weed” Opens in Phoenix
How amazed are you by my mock-up of Weed Mart? Pretty accurate, right?
According to Reuters, a garden superstore is set to open in Phoenix which will cater to those in the area looking to grow medical marijuana. Acting on the newly passed legalization of medical marijuana, Dhar Mann, the founder of weGrow, says the store will sell everything but the plant itself.
The 21,000-square-foot store offers some 2,000 products, including soil, grow lights and irrigation trays, specially designed for effective marijuana growing, Mann told Reuters.
Plus, a doctor will be on site to issue approval to those with eligible ailments, which means weGrow will basically be an assembly line of stoners looking to get their grow on. However, as a state assemblyman reminded the public, obtaining, selling, and possessing marijuana is still a federal crime, despite 16 states and the District of Columbia making it legal in certain circumstances, so don’t think you can grow a truckload of pot in AZ and then cart it back over to Utah, got it?
I would just like to know if they have a bakery, ifyouknowwhatImean.
