The Commonwealth Games, in New Delhi, India, are the puny step-brother of the Olympics (because America isn’t involved) held every four years in one of the member states of the Commonwealth of Nations. I scoffed at them all week, hearing news that the conditions were terrible, the heat was intolerable, and the drama surrounding the games was palpable.

And then we heard this news that made me think hey- maybe they know what they’re going over there. According to reports, the athlete’s village drainage system is under copious amounts of stress due to thousands of condoms being flushed down the toilets.

HIGH FIVE, COMMONWEALTH GAMES ATHLETES! This is undeniably awesome – thousands of athletes, stressed out for their competitions, poppin’ ones off in their little apartments to release a little tension? Uh, someone has to have a video camera specifically for these things, right?!
