Is your brain as confused as mine is? I mean… okay. There’s Will.i.am being Will.i.am (saying the same stupid lyrics over and over), and there’s Britney Spears doing that Voguey posing thing that vaguely passes for dancing these days, but… that’s not her voice, right? I mean… that’s a British woman, right? Am I crazy? I guess that maybe she… is imitating a British accent? But no way, right? She can barely get four normal words out in her hick-ass Louisiana drawl, let ALONE in a upper-class British one, RIGHT?

Maybe I’m underestimating BritBrit. Maybe she’s been working on that voice for a while. Or maybe the technological magic that made auto-tune can also make a backwoods Southern girl sound like she works in Buckingham Palace. All I’m saying is when I think of Britney’s voice, I hear this or this, not THAT.
