The Kissing Controller
The grown up, tech version of Seven Minutes in Heaven has arrived in the form of The Kissing Controller, a prototype by artist Hye Yeon Nam, which allows players to control a bowling game by – you guessed it – kissing passionately. All you need is the special headset and magnet, the bowling game, and (most importantly) someone willing to let your tongue wrestle your way to a strike.
According to its creator:
“One person has a magnet on his/her tongue and the other person wears the headset. While they kiss, the person who has the magnet on his/her tongue, controls the direction and speed of the bowling ball for 20 seconds. The goals of this game are to guide the ball so that it maintains an average position in the center of the alley and to increase the speed of the ball by moving the tongue faster while kissing.”
I’m not sure whether to consider this hot or really creepster, but it sure looks like it could be a fun way to break the ice with a potential booty call, doesn’t it? Bringing the Kissing Controller bowling game to a party would sure separate the prudes from the pack! You would want to make sure of a couple things, though, of course, including but not limited to no coffee, cigarettes, sharp cheeses, or garlic before playing.
Check out the video below from Kotaku to see the game in ACTION (no pun intended, okay maybe a little intended).
