Alright America, it’s time to step up to the plate. I’ve been seeing safe sex ads from other countries recently and I really think it’s time for us to start televising safe sex ads, instead of just not allowing boobs on TV and hoping that’s enough to keep teens abstinent forever. The only American safe sex ad I’ve seen recently was aimed at the elderly AND only on YouTube, and that just doesn’t cut it.

This ad from Finland, on the other hand… It has everything a safe sex ad should have: hot models, sexy breathing, clothes being removed, and then BAM! A reminder that you were NOT the first person to get all up in thurr. And using Facebook Places, a universally known symbol? I HOPE THE AD AGENT WHO CAME UP WITH THIS MADE A MILLION DOLLARS. The guy behind this BULLSHIT probably did, for crying out loud, and that atrocity was for a mediocre snack food.

So, American ad agencies, let’s make this happen, shall we? With one thirty second spot, you could help put an end to teenage pregnancies and the spread of STDs, AND make a million dollars. It’s a win – win!
