Sometimes, taking compliments can be oddly hard. You don’t want to sound rude, but you also don’t want to sound arrogant or assuming. Like when someone says, “WOW, you look great, have you lost weight?” And you’re like “WHAT? NO WAY I’M MASSIVE, YOU’RE THE ONE WHO LOOKS AMAZING.”

It’s silly, really, because we should just say thank you and move on. Part of being a confident single is to know your value, and part of that is accepting compliments. Like, for example, this testimonial, which totally toots our horn:
