Everyone from club goers to old people to NFL stars to the First Lady herself knew the ‘Teach Me How to Dougie’ dance and its song’s catchy chorus, so it’s with a sad heart that we report singer Montae Talbert, aka MBone of Cali Swag District is dead at the young age of 22. Although police are not releasing details of his death at this time, some sources are saying that a young man of his age and description was shot and killed outside of a 7-11 in Los Angeles, where Talbert resided. The source says a gun fight broke out between two vehicles Sunday evening, and after a few exchanged rounds, MBone was fatally wounded.

We send our thoughts to the family and friends of MBone, and will do a respectful Dougie in honor of him at the club this weekend. RIP.
