Sometimes I have a hard time keeping track of all the rappers on the airwaves today. There are so many of them, and they all make appearances on each others’ songs, and they all sound exactly the same (sorry, rap enthusiasts), how is a lady supposed to keep tabs on them all? Probably with their rap SHEETS (ha! Pun City, population: me)!

All kidding aside, even I know the sweet stoney goodness of Snoop Dogg, who was cited this weekend when drug sniffing dogs found a prescription bottle on his tour bus with a couple joints in it, coincidentally at the same border crossing where pal Willie Nelson was popped in 2010. Although Snoop has a prescription for cannabis in the Great State of California, it seems our hippie laws don’t count over in Texas, where everything is bigger including the sticks up their assesJUST KIDDING TEXAS, LOVE YOU. According to TMZ, Snoop was cited for misdemeanor possession and sent on his way. Good thing, too, as the lineup for music-super-fest Coachella was released yesterday and Snoop Dogg (along with Dr. Dre) is slated to headline on Sunday.

Also according to TMZ, rapper Tyga of “Rock City” and “Coconut Juice” fame was arrested in Las Vegas this past weekend. The report claims police pulled him over for a routine traffic stop* and discovered that he had several warrants out for his arrest, including “driving without a license, registration violations and unlawful acts of financial responsibility.”

Tyga was booked at Clark County Detention Center but released the next day.
