Now that football is over, I assumed that we’d be free for a while of horrible accidents that make you cringe and promise to be more careful when stepping off curbs. Unfortunately, the world championships of skiing in Austria showed that nope – we’re never safe from terrifying accidents.

Lindsay Vonn, Olympic gold medalist and rumored Tiger Woods fling, was airlifted earlier today after suffering a terrifying crash that resulted in a tibial plateau fracture, which sounds f***ing awful.
