Sofia Vergara. Shakira. These unbelievably bangin’ hot models that I have never heard of. All of these women have something in common: they’re Colombian. So it makes sense that a recent poll by dating site Miss Travel found that guys believe Colombia has the sexiest women in the world.

The dating site, which pairs wealthy male travelers with young female companions, asked 13,000 male members and found that the top 3 sexiest female nationalities are Colombian, Brazilian, and American.

The mix of European, Native South American, and African genes, paired with delicious healthy food and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world are all factors that would lead to the population being decidedly gorgeous, but we also imagine it has to do with the fact that Colombia is rated the happiest country in the world. Happy people tend to be more attractive!

Or wait, maybe they’re happiest BECAUSE of the sexy women? Which came first, the chicken or the ridiculously gorgeous Colombian model?
