We’ve always thought of Portland as California’s bowler-cap wearing, latte-sipping hipster cousin, but apparently they know a lot more about booty call culture than we thought! According to a recent study, Oregonites are the online daters most interested in casual sex!

Basically, OkCupid looked at the percentage of users in each state that were looking for causal sex and found that… (*drumroll*)… Oregon was the state most interested in a random hookup. Their motto “alis volat propriis” (she flies with her own wings) is now my new favorite term for masturbation. Thank you, Oregon.

Don’t worry if you don’t reside in the Pacific Northwest, though. The top ten list spans the US from corner to corner:

2. Washington
3. Vermont
4. Idaho
5. Alaska
6. Nevada
7. Montana
