It’s been a while since we’ve talked about the hundreds of reasons why young singles should wait to get married instead of rushing into long-term, legally-binding relationships. Reasons like people live longer now and birth control methods might make you cling to Mr. Wrong.

We were reminded of our stance on marriage today when we heard about a recent episode of the train-wreck reality show True Tori, which chronicles the relationship woes of 80s star Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott, who was caught having an affair last year. Why you’d want to air your dirty laundry ON THE LIFETIME NETWORK, of all places, I don’t know – but it definitely gave us some insight into marriages and one big reason they fail:

SEXUAL INCOMPATIBILITY.
