Menstruation. It can be a miserable part of a woman’s life, or a relief (I think all sexually-active ladies have had a “oh thank you GOD” moment). It’s a part of nature, but that doesn’t mean it’s not icky. Pee and poop and warts and puss and cysts and acne are ALSO a part of nature, but that doesn’t mean one has to pretend to enjoy any of those things. But “artists” will be artists, so it’s not all that surprising that a Chilean woman has decided to make “art” out of her menstruation. Specifically, 5 YEARS WORTH OF BLOODY PERIOD “RAGS” HANGING FROM THE CEILING OF AN ART GALLERY NO I AM NOT JOKING.
