Kim and Kanye’s Baby’s Name is North
While we can’t make an official statement until one of the two parents makes an official statement, word on the street is that Kim and Kanye have actually decided to name their newborn daughter NORTH, thus making the child’s legal name “North West.”
A source told E! News, “that the girl’s name is North West, with no middle name. According to a source, “They will call her Nori for short!” ”
It’s funny that their “nickname” for the baby is TWO SYLLABLES, while the full name is only ONE. Nicknames, in general, are shortened or less formal versions of the child’s full name – i.e. Will for William or Kate for Kathryn or Ted for Theodore. In this case, it seems like both parents are aware of how ridiculous the name North is, and are still going with it because it’s about as “CELEBRITY” as you get.
They’ve basically outlined the newborn’s upcoming reality show, featuring a tween who decides to take on Seattle after living with her famous parents in LA. What will come of her? Will she score that fashion internship she wants? Or will she end up crying on the Space Needle as the camera pans away playing the newest Taylor Swift song?
