In general, we avoid posting silly, cute videos of animals on BCU. If it has nothing to do with dating and it doesn’t make you laugh or say “WTF” then we don’t really have time for it. Go watch videos of sleepy kittens on your own time (seriously though – go watch them. They’re the best).

This Thursday morning, though, we decided to ignore our own rule and start the morning with this video of dogs riding in a car. Why? It is because it’s adorable? Well, partially yes, but mostly because it’s a great metaphor for Thursday, dating, and life in general!

Look at those dogs! SO CHILL! Just riding in the back seat, letting the wind blow through their fur, excited as all hell for whatever is going to come next (hopefully it’s the park). We humans (especially the single ones) could take a page of these pups’ books by allowing life to happen and being excited, positive, and carefree – instead of stressing about our outfits and whether or not we’ll get laid this weekend.

Yeah, it’s Thursday, and yeah, the weekend is still a couple days away. But who cares! Smile! Embrace the day! Go run after a tennis ball for two hours! It’s Thursday, so let’s all just CHILL.
