Is it Racist? Mitt Romney’s Birther Joke
Sometimes Friday just needs a nice healthy dose of anger to get your weekend started, and this week’s is from our good friends Mittens McMoneybags (aka Mitt Romney), the Republican nominee for President, who decided that his most recent rally in Michigan was the perfect place to remind people of the totally absurd and vaguely-racist idea that Barack Obama wasn’t born in the US and therefore is not legally allowed to be President.
This idea, of course, was debunked years ago when Obama released his birth certificate as a hearty “F*** YOU, YOU IDIOTS,” but of course that wasn’t enough for many of the goddamn asshats suspicious birthers in the country.
Mitt’s advisors tried to downplay the detestable joke, of course, saying, “The governor has always said, and has repeatedly said, he believes the president was born here in the United States. He was only referencing that Michigan, where he is campaigning today, is the state where he himself was born and raised.”
SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURE, Mitty. I’m SURE that’s what he was referring to, which is why the crowd hoots and hollers like farm animals about to be fed. Ugh.
Obama’s responding statement, of course, is as classy and upper-handed as always, saying “Governor Romney’s decision to directly enlist himself in the birther movement should give pause to any rational voter across America.”
A+, Mr. President. Let’s hope people are listening.
And with that, we leap headfirst into the weekend. Take that anger and turn it into some sweet dance moves, awesome pick up lines, and über-hot hook ups. We’ll see you on the other side!

There was nothing racists about his joke, your comment was racists. African/Americans can be born in this country just like any other race.
