Usually our ‘Is It Racist’ posts have to do with stupid things that white people say or do about other races. Specifically, black people and Asians. Today’s featured ‘Is It Racist,’ though, is a little different. Specifically, black on black racism.

People are up in arms this week over a video that was recently featured on Russell Simmons’ All Def Digital YouTube channel. ‘Harriet Tubman Sex Tape,’ according to Gawker, has a simple plot:

Beloved abolitionist Harriet Tubman, while enslaved, turns the tables on her “massa” one night by graciously accepting his normally unwanted sexual advances in an effort to blackmail him and earn her freedom.
