This is a painful, difficult Hump Day Hottie post to write. Not because we don’t love Vanessa Hudgens: the feisty little Latina definitely gets our blood pumping. Not because there was any one else to choose from (this week was scarce in terms of applicants). Not even because I ran into a cactus plant yesterday and there are still some rogue spines in my fingers.

It’s a painful, difficult post to write because the video in which Miss Vanessa makes her case for being our Hump Day Hottie has intermittent appearances by… ::deep breath::… NICOLAS CAGE. AAHHHHH I KNOW OH GOD IT’S AWWWFULLL I’M SORRY UUUGHHHHHHH. Nicolas Cage is the actual complete and utter opposite of a Hump Day Hottie, and yet here he is in the trailer for V. Hudge’s new movie, Frozen Ground, just jamming his weird bird fetus head up in our business.

However, the juicy parts of the trailer, in which Vanessa plays a seductive stripper, are just enough to let us overlook the dank and dismal Nic Cage parts… which is in itself an accomplishment. So congratulations, Vanessa. For being so hot that we endure a video starring Nicolas Cage, we present you this week’s Hump Day Hottie award.

Now please, don’t ever do that to us again.
