I hadn’t paid much attention to Instagram-celeb Paulina Gretzy over the past year because she’s just kinda boring. Yeah, she’s rich (she’s the daughter of hockey star Wayne Gretsky) and beautiful and apparently spends 90% of her day on private jets wearing bikinis, but that could be said about dozens of celebrities. So who cares about another skinny blonde bimbo lounging poolside?

Then last week, PG was on the cover of Canadian Maxim because hockey and boobs, and her interview was pretty refreshingly honest and frank, and we gained a whole new respect for her. When the subject of her endless bathing-suit clad pics came up, she didn’t beat around the bush:

“Some people gave me such a hard time for posting all these swimsuit pics on Twitter. I’m sorry; I’m not posting pictures when I’m reading a book,” Gretzky told the magazine in a snippet of the interview posted online. “I feel like social media is supposed to be for fun, to share what you’re doing when you’re enjoying life.”

“I don’t take the time to think, OK, should I post the photo that has my boobs in it or the one where I’m in a turtleneck?”

So she admits that hey – she’s got a great rack, she lives a fun life, so WTF cares? It’s the perfect response, and we gotta give respect where it’s due. Oh, we almost forgot. She looked like THIS in the mag spread:

So yeah, we gotta give credit where credit is due to a Hump Day Hottie who knows she’s hot and doesn’t care what anyone thinks about her life. Lookin good, girl. Keep it up!
