The Met Ball was this weekend. I didn’t actually know what the Met Ball was so I looked it up, and apparently it’s “an annual ball that celebrates the annual opening of the Metropolitan Museum’s (The Met) fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute” which sounds like the most self-serving obnoxious American douchey thing in the world, but whatever.

The “theme” of the ball this year was “punk,” so everyone showed up in their own stylist’s interpretation of a “punk” outfit. Except Kim Kardashian, who came in her finest couch cover from 1981. Miley Cyrus took the theme probably the most literally, dressing in a mesh-y black thing and spiking her hair out in the hottest new “just put my hand on an electric fence” style.

Her face looked nice, though, so I dug deeper and found this shoot from V Magazine earlier this week, complete with a video of her WORKIN’ IT, and it is an unquestionable winner for today’s HUMP DAY HOTTIE AWARD.

Say what you want about Miley (she’s weird, she makes terrible decisions, her genetic code might be biologically flawed), the girl looks GOOD. Ever since she left Disney she’s been on a one way train to sex town. Yeah, the hair thing was probably not her BEST idea, but she got a rockin’ bod, a nice looking face, and she can pose with the best of them.

We approve, Miley. Keep up the good work (and stop putting Elmer’s glue in your HURR, please).
