It takes a lot to shock the iGeneration (that’s what I’m calling all of us 20-somethings who grew up with Netscape and watched it morph into iPad-compatible hardcore porn). We’re not easily disturbed, and actually are on a constant hunt to see something MORE strange, MORE disturbing, MORE brain-frying. Like, say, THIS.

So the never-before-seen photos released on Yeeeah from a Japanese photoshoot of Lady Gaga (above) aren’t by any means the most heart-stopping thing we’ve ever seen. They’re honestly fairly PG-13, if you consider what 13-year-olds these days have seen. However, because they are of a multi-platinum selling recording artist and not some struggling D-list actress, it is slightly more intriguing, is it not? After scrolling through them a few times, though, I realized that my brain is caught in a conundrum: are they hot, or (as Gawker called them) horrifying? Clearly, Gaga has a great body, and yes, the poses are pretty seductive, but something about the level of bondage, the cigarette, and the singer’s less-than-traditionally-attractive face makes me feel… um, icky.
