Thanksgiving is officially 3 days away, and if you’re anything like me you’re prepping both your body AND your soul, by consuming meals double your normal intake to stretch your stomach and pointing out all your flaws in the mirror so you’ll be prepared for when your mother has her third glass of wine.

The concept of Thanksgiving is honorable: get together with loved ones, eat tons of food, and enjoy each other’s company. In execution, though, it tends to be more of a tension-filled board meeting where you stare at your plate and keep your mouth full so you don’t blow up at your uncle for saying “faggot” in every sentence, and wish for once you would follow through with your plans to buy a plane ticket to Tahiti for the weekend.
