Guy Finds Dead Mouse in Energy Drink
2011 is apparently not only the year of the public brawl, but it also year of the “people finding the most disgusting thing I can imagine in their drinks.” First we had that lady who found a condom in her (barf) sour milk, and now we have Vitaliy Sulzhik from Washington who found (double barf) a DEAD MOUSE in his Monster Energy drink. According to Vitaliy, he chugged his Monster down to the last drop early last year when he realized that there was definitely still something in the can. He says he tried to dump the remaining “backwash” (gross, dude) into his mouth when BAM, out popped some “debris,” as in the F***ING TAIL OF A DEAD MOUSE. He says he immediately vomited everywhere.
Although reporters at MSNBC were unable to get a comment from Hansen (the makers of Monster), Vitaliy’s lawyers claim that several forensic tests show there is no evidence that the mouse was killed and then shoved into the can, which seems to imply that the little guy was in the can before the energy drink, which is so, so gross, and I think I’m going to throw up right now just thinking about dead mouse fluids in my mouth. Although the unfortunate disaster and following investigation happened over a year ago, Vitaliy’s lawyers claim the Hansen beverage company still doesn’t believe him.
Vitaliy says he hasn’t drank anything from a can since, which is funny because now I am never ever going to drink anything from a can either. GREAT.
Oh, and moral of the story? Drink Red Bull.
