This past weekend was the Jon Stewart/Steven Colbert rally event in Washington DC that people have been talking about for weeks. A counterpoint to the Glenn Beck rally earlier this year, it brought in over 200,000 people from around the country, all “Rallying for Sanity,” and reminding our nation to get out and vote on November 2nd (which is tomorrow! Don’t forget! VOTE!) with a combination of stand up comedy, live music, and inspirational speeches.

However, the best part of the rally for those of us who weren’t fortunate enough to go was incontrovertibly the hilarious protest signs. Whether or not you lean further left or right, we all had to laugh at the hideously misspelled posters that were prominent at the Tea Party rally. At the “Rally to Restore Sanity,” however, there were thousands of posters that were smart, thought-provoking, and politically poignant.

This is not one of those signs.
