Forbes Top Cities For Singles
Once again, Forbes has released their list of the top cities for singles to live in, with the ever popular Atlanta coming in at #1, followed by San Francisco and Dallas (DALLAS??). The capital of Georgia comes in at number one due to it’s relatively high number of singles, job growth, and hot nightlife. As it has fallen within the top ten for the last eight years, it’s no surprise that it has finally reached the top spot!
The rest of the top 40:
To determine which U.S. cities are most comfortable for soloists, we ranked the 40 largest urbanized areas in mainland America in seven different categories: number of singles, nightlife, culture, cost of living alone, job growth, online dating activity and coolness. To determine a city’s cool factor, we partnered with Harris Interactive (nasdaq: HPOL – news – people ), who conducted a poll, asking, “Among the following U.S. Cities, which one do you think is the coolest?”
We’re pretty proud that our own fabulous city made it within the top 20, although I am slightly put off by the idea that PHOENIX came in ahead of us. PHOENIX? Since when do singles love living in an old man’s mouth? Phoenix is like a raisin you left between couch cushions for three years. Phoenix is like someone slapping your sunburn. Phoenix is like… okay, okay Phoenix lovers. I’ll stop.
Did your city make the cut? If not, start packing and head your way down here ASAP! (or just use OnlineBootyCall to find your way to the coolest singles anywhere!)
