With the many arguments we’ve made against marriage; from the insane cost of divorce to the cases of it making people turn completely batsh** insane (like say, biting off your husbands balls or driving around with your wife on the hood of your car), we would like to think that perhaps we have helped young people see that they don’t have to get married to be happy, and should certainly wait before jumping into a contract that could ruin your life.

However, we have now received word that it is official. Like, 100% absolutely, positively confirmed that people shouldn’t get married. Why? Because the most stunning goddess from heaven above hath deemed marriage ‘irrelevant,’ of course.

From the angel’s mouth herself:

“I just don’t think marriage is necessary, as necessary as society makes it. And I don’t have a negative point of view on it. I just think it’s a very old tradition and if you look back to what marriage symbolizes in the first place… it has nothing to do with why we get married today.

I don’t know if I want children, but the idea of marriage sounds very boring to me.”
