Don’t Go Into Dating Debt!
Everything is more expensive these days, from avocados to cars, and DATING. And now we’re learning that it’s actually putting people in DEBT! via CNBC:
In fact, 22% of millennials (ages 26 to 41) and 19% of Gen Zers (ages 18 to 25) have gone into debt from what they’ve spent on dating, according to a September Lendingtree survey.
Overall, survey respondents said they spend about $91 on a night out, on average. Respondents who identify as women said they would spend an average of $81 on a date, while respondents who identify as men said they would spend an average of $104.
Whoa – so if you go on two dates a weekend, for a month, that’s upwards of $800 a month on DATING? No thanks. Take our advice – meet singles on the new OBC app for Android, and meet singles for a beer at the park, a coffee walk, or just skip right to the booty. Total cost of date? Zero dollars.
