If you’ll recall, I was more than thrilled this year to find out that the San Diego County Fair was featuring a new fried treat – fried Kool-Aid. I mean, fried foods are my vice. Fried pickles, fried Oreos, fried Snickers bars, fried funnel cake…. you name it, I’ll eat it.

But even I was somewhat turned off by the news that the Iowa State Fair beginning to sell a new product – fried BUTTER. According to Eater, the newest sensation to hit the fair-food rounds is, ” a whole stick of butter on a stick dipped in a cinnamon honey batter and deep-fried. And then coated in a sugary glaze.” I mean, that sounds pretty delicious, right?

All I’m saying is, no offense to Iowa, but I’m pretty sure the Midwest has enough of an obesity problem without offering a cholesterol spiking treat like that. Check out a video of the most indulgent treat to ever hit the fairgrounds at the source.
