Dating vs Food – The Survey
We’ve always talked about the benefits of booty calls, including the idea that you can stop going on awkward dinner dates and get right to the action, instead of stumbling through forced conversation about siblings and your gluten allergy. However, we all know that once you are comfortable with a person, there are few things more enjoyable than an awesome dinner filled with all your favorite foods, leading to a wine-happy romp in the hay.
Match.com must have understood this idea, because they polled their users about turn-ons, turn-offs, and dealbreakers of dinner dates. From flirting with the waitstaff (BIG NO) to offering a bite of your food (RESOUNDING YES), the survey provides a lot of insight about how to behave when out on a date at a restaurant.
Unfortunately, the last question turned out to be a little bit of a drag – according to the survey, 32% of people would rather give up sex than their favorite foods for a year. And the two foods they’d give up sex for? Chocolate and steak. Such sad news, considering chocolate and steak are the two best pre-hook up meals on the planet. Check out the rest of the results, and go make a reservation for this weekend. Vegetarians need not apply.
