In 1999, if you had asked me what I thought of Christina Aguilara, I’d have said, “she’s cute but she’s a terrible dancer.” If you had asked me what I thought of her in 2002, I’d have said, “she kinda got a little gross, right?” And then a little later into 2002 I’d have answered “OMG SO TALENTED.”

Now, 10 years later, she’s on the talent show The Voice, is looking a little chubbsville, and has a reputation of being a real C-U-Next-Tuesday. So I was, shall we say, less than interested in seeing the music video for her new single, “Your Body.” However, after Gawker deftly noticed a rather STRANGE moment about 2-and-a-half minutes in, I just had to see what the commotion was about. AND YEAH, while the rest of the video is classic, zoomed-in-too-far ickiness, the icky factor gets taken to a whole new level at 2 minutes and 20 seconds. Observe:

Gawker hypothesizes, “Is she sick? A squirter? Does she pee blue and thick? Is she really bad at graffiti?” but only one thing comes to mind when I watch those few seconds. Two words: TAMPON COMMERCIAL.
