Chris Brown Should Probably Delete His Twitter Account
All of the world shook their heads in disapproval when Chris Brown took the stage at the Grammys on Sunday, understandably upset that he, a man who admittedly beat the sh*t out of Rihanna just two years ago, would be invited to perform onstage in front of his peers. Celebrities from Sherri Shephard to Miranda Lambert Tweeted their outrage that he has been “forgiven,” implying that he should be kicked out of the Grammys (and show business) for a long time to come (although a Zap 2 it blogger aptly noted that two other domestic abusers were at the show and didn’t get quite the reception as Brown.)
The acceptability of Chris Brown is, of course, subjective, however what’s NOT subjective is the obvious fact that Chris Brown should delete his Twitter account. Mashable’s Christina Warren snagged a screenshot of this Tweet yesterday before it was quickly deleted, and boy is it a doozy:
AY AY AY, Chris Brown. EVER HEARD OF THE HIGH ROAD? Well, I guess you beat your girlfriend’s face in so probably not. This isn’t Brown’s only Twitter debacle, of course, just last year he accidentally Tweeted (instead of DM’d) a rather questionable message to Rihanna, and then became embroiled in a gay sex scandal just a couple months later. At this point, kid, YOU SHOULD PROBABLY DELETE YOUR TWITTER ACCOUNT.
Oh, and before you go – here are a few more Tweets from his rant last night that he has now deleted, in case you needed more reasons to agree that Chris Brown SHOULD PROBABLY DELETE HIS TWITTER ACCOUNT.
