I try to keep politics out of this blog as much as possible, because UGH, politics, but sometimes it’s impossible, especially when said politics is SO FREAKING STUPID IT’S PAINFUL.

According to ThinkProgress.org, Missouri legislator Donna Lichtenegger recently posted a picture to her Facebook wall dubbed a “Californian to Texan” translation guide. The “chart” (I use quotes because it’s an insult to charts everywhere) has words and phrases that are used by hippie-ass, tree-hugging, Communist Californians, with their nice Christian Texan translation following.

I don’t know about you, but to me it just solidifies the idea that Texas is, in fact, a state primarily made up of cross-eyed, toothless, racist hicks in overalls, and that Californians are logically-minded individuals who are capable of independent thought. I’m not sure what “point” (again, insult to points everywhere) Miss Lichtenegger was trying to make, so I am going to ask you:

WHAT THE F*** WAS HER POINT?
