Brazilian Cave Insects Bone for 70 Hours
And you thought that all-night booty call was worthy of a gold medal! According to The Independent, researchers at the Hokkaido University and Keio University Japan have discovered that the Brazilian neotrogla species of cave insect may have intercourse for up to 70 hours at a time – and that the neotrogla females insert a PENIS into their male counterpart’s VAGINA during sex.
Basically, neotrogla are the most sex-lovin’, forward-thinking, open-minded species on Earth. WAY more kinky than anyone in San Francisco, that’s for sure. Oh, and it gets better:
Via The Independent:
To lock on, the membranous part of the female gynosome inflates and numerous spines internally anchor the two insects together.
In one instance, when the researchers attempted to pull a male and female apart, the male’s abdomen was ripped from the thorax without breaking the genital coupling.
Yep, that’s right. The female neotrogla would rather VICIOUSLY MURDER their bed mates rather than end their marathon sex sessions. Talk about a sex-positive feminist culture, eh?
This weekend, get out there and do it like the neotrogla do! Except ladies, don’t murder your dude because he pulls out. That’s not cool.
Happy Friday!
