Blake Griffin Switches Hands Mid-Dunk
I’ve admitted several times that I don’t really understand the rules behind basketball. I know you have to get the ball in the basket, and I know you can’t “double dribble,” but honestly other than that it just looks like a bunch of people avoiding each other in a mall during Black Friday trying to get to the last Magic Bullet.
Even I, though, can appreciate the difficulty of this dunk by LA Clippers power forward Blake Griffin, in a game last night against the 76ers (I had to research to make sure that name was correct, because what a DUMB name for a basketball team). According to Deadspin, Griffin made a split-second decision and switched hands mid-dunk, something rarely seen in the sport. Check it out:
Pretty baller, huh? I gotta say, when I see things like this (or when I see my own SDSU basketball team killing it in the Mountain West division), it makes me get excited for March Madness and NBA Finals parties.
I think I just like screaming at televisions and eating bean dip. Still – GOOD JOB, BG! That was AWESOME.
