Billionaire Sheikh Carves Name into Private Island
You know how sometimes you’re just bored with your PRIVATE ISLAND and your BILLIONS OF DOLLARS and your PYRAMID FULL OF 200 LUXURY VEHICLES? I know, me too. It’s exhausting figuring out ways to blow your 22 BILLION dollar fortune, so I’m really relieved that billionaire sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan from Abu Dhabi has finally found a new way to spend money more frivolously – by commissioning his staff to carve his name into approximately two miles of sand on his private island, dubbed Al Futaisi.
According to TheSun, the carving of HAMAD is so large that it can be seen from Google Maps, and the letters are so wide that the first two have been made into waterways so the mega-rich sheikh can ride his yacht onto his private island via the first initial of his name. COOL. Very reasonable use of money.
