Rapper Big Freedia (aka Freddie Ross) made the word twerk cool again yesterday, by breaking the Guinness World Record for amount of people twerking at one time. According to BuzzFeed, he (although they refer to him as “she”) gathered hundreds of people in Herald Square in New York City for the Ultimate Twerk Party.

Although I don’t know if it’s possible to twerk as well as Big Freedia does (Miley, take note):

Needless to say, the official count came in and BOOMSHAKALAKA, Big F has set the world record for “Most Twerkers Twerking,” as you can tell by this official certificate presented by a dude who looks like he has NO clue what the word twerk even means. “I assume it is to Tweet while you work, correct sir?”
