Sometimes I think that stereotypes are created by the people that harbor them. Black people are not dangerous and Mexican people are not lazy and German people don’t want to murder all the Jews, but the longer you believe these ideas, the closer they come to being true.

So if you said, “oh man, I bet this NASCAR “pastor” is about to say a prayer thanking God for all the sponsors and his “smokin’ hot wife,” I’d say you were just feeding into an untrue stereotype. But I’d be wrong.
