What a year for #teamSINGLE it has been! Of course, just because we are advocates for waiting for marriage doesn’t mean we revel in the demise of a relationship between two people who love each other (unless it’s Kardashian related, then it’s hahas all around). So, to Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, we send our deepest sympathies. We really thought these two had what it takes to make it the long haul, but according to TMZ,

The 49-year-old Moore says she’s ending her marriage “with great sadness and a heavy heart.”

Demi says, “as a woman, a mother, and a wife, certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.”

TMZ suggests (and we agree) that a divorce statement that like strongly implies that the alleged cheating scandal between Ashton and fame-hungry money-grubbing ho bag 22-year-old Sara Leal was in fact true. Following Demi’s divorce statement, Ashton tweeted (because Twitter is the most heartfelt of announcement platforms), “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail.”

You heard it straight from the Two and a Half Men star, folks. Marriage is one of the MOST DIFFICULT THINGS IN THE WORLD. Like taking the bar exam, or getting cancer, or climbing Mt. Everest. So don’t attempt it unless you are 100% IN FOR THE LONG HAUL.
