Girl-on-Girl Cheating Is Okay, Say Half of Boyfriends
Oh, boys. Boys boys boys. You are so SILLY sometimes. Take for example when you cry over sports teams losing, or when you and your friends have balls-punching matches and then get mad when your balls get punched. Sometimes we women look at you and all we see is a slightly retarded dog dressed up as a human. Of course, only sometimes. Usually you are hilarious and intelligent replicas of Hercules!
Usually.
And then comes this survey, which really doesn’t help your case. According to a report by Reuters, 718 college students were interviewed about their views on cheating. The results were pretty… um, interesting:
28% of women said they’d keep a guy around if he cheating with another girl. If they cheated with a guy, they’d keep him around about 21% of the time.
Of the men, on the other hand: while 22% of the time they said they’d stay with her if she cheated on him with another guy, they would continue dating her 50% of the time if she cheated with another woman.
Almost alarmingly predictable, right? Well, it gets worse. Via the report, the male’s reason for forgiving their girlfriends for girl-on-girl cheating is because it’s “an opportunity to mate with more than one woman simultaneously, satisfying men’s greater desire for more partners.”
Just adorable. Now, I’m sure you can easily note the social double standard our generation puts on homosexuality, and that it is far more widely accepted between females, or that men are genetically wired to be strictly straight or gay. But STILL, if you walked into your girls apartment unexpectedly and she was going at it with another woman and your first thought was “oh hell yeah maybe I can get in on that,” you might just be barking up the wrong, um… vagina.
