Top Dream Cars for 2011
2010 been pretty tough for the American economy. Just about every industry took a hit (except the war industry but let’s not get started on that), and it really made an impact of the well being of our citizens. Thanks to some selfish, repulsive, and small-penis-evident activity by the US banking system, especially, many people have lost just about everything except the bare minimum needed to survive. And most of us have had to make sacrifices in all aspects of our life, especially the luxuries. However, as 2010 comes to a close and we look forward to the joys that 2011 can bring, let’s all take a shot of whiskey, close our eyes, and daydream about the cars we’d love to own in 2011.
Top Sedan: Jaguar XJ
Ah yes, the Jag. The ultimate sign of class. The new 2011 Jaguar XJ is no exception, I mean just look at it down there steaming in the cold air. If I ever set foot in a Jaguar I think my accent will immediately change and I’ll be like, “Oy guv’nah, pass that lorry ahead, won’t you?” and also I will probably start measuring things in centimeters and adding U’s into words that DON’T NEED U’s.
Perks: long wheelbase, rear-wheel-drive layout and five-liter V8 engine with 385 horsepower
Starting price: $72,700
Top SUV: Audi Q7
Ack. I love me an Audi, and no it doesn’t have anything to do with my obviously creepy nerd-obsession with Iron Man. Come on. That would be dumb (slash awesome!!!!). Audi’s are just great cars, period, and the new Audi Q7 SUV is a perfect example of that. I mean, look at that shape. GORGEOUS!
Perks: supercharged V-6 engine, 8-speed automatic transmission, and, finally catching onto the trends of modern technology: they dropped the 6 CD changer, because who owns one CD these days, let alone 6. HD Radio available as well.
Price: $45,700 – $58,900
Top Truck: Ford F-150 3.7L
In a recent text run by PickUpTrucks.com, the new Ford F-150 beat its GMC and Dodge competitors in nearly every category, from performance and handling, to braking and fuel economy.
Perks: Six speed auto transmission, great MPG, pretty friggin’ affordable
Starting price: $18,000
Top Hybrid: Honda Civic Hybrid
While Toyota has been the front runner in hybrid cars since its release of the hybrid-synonymous Prius, Honda is close on its tail with its wide range of eco-friendly cars. Our favorite is the Civic hybrid, as it combines the environmentally-sound technology with something that has been missing in the hybrid market: style.
Perks: sleek exterior, 42 MPG, and the reliability of Honda
Top Convertible: Bugatti Veyron 16.4
What is there to say about Bugatti that hasn’t been said already? The French-Italian art pieces/vehicles are not only a wonder to drive but just as nice to look at. It’s the fastest road-legal car available today, but good luck mustering up the dough to afford one, let alone maintain it.
Perks: 0-60 in 2.7 seconds, and also just LOOK AT IT.
$2 million, so starting saving those nickels.
