As a woman, I constantly have to witness those of my own gender reinforcing stereotypes that make us look like terrible, materialistic airheads. You always hear women saying, “I wish that people cared more about my brains and less about my looks,” and then five minutes later on national television a candidate for Miss Teen USA calls it “The Iraq.” Come on, ladies, for the sake of the continuance of mankind, it’s time to break free of those stereotypes!
