Let’s hope your favorite brew isn’t Danish beer Carlsberg, because you won’t be getting any shipments of it anytime soon. The workers of the brewery in Denmark are on strike… can you guess what for?

a) Unsafe working conditions

b) Unfair wages

c) Only being allowed 3 beers per day, during their lunch break, and not being allowed to drink beer before driving delivery trucks or working with heavy machinery

If you guessed A or B, you might be sane, but you’re incorrect! 800 workers at the Carlsberg brewery have walked off the plant (with another 250 still picketing) because the company has decided to ban drinking during work hours. Mind you, they are still allowed three beers during their lunch break, but apparently the workers feel this is blasphemy! Brewery workers not allowed to drink copiously throughout the work day while manning incredibly dangerous equipment? It’s an abomination!

Or maybe, just maybe, the employees of this Danish beer company are just raging alcoholics. What do you think?
