She’s hilarious, he’s a genius – now this is a pair we can get behind. The star of Girl’s Trip recently confirmed that she’s dating the rapper turned actor and writer, and she has nothing but good things to say about the relationship (and ensures us the new duo is Covid-free. Via Billboard:

Tiffany Haddish had already fessed up that she and rapper Common have been quarantining together, but in a new interview she said they’ve both been tested and they’ve been… getting very close.

“I am in a relationship,” she told Steve-O on the latest edition of his Wild Ride podcast.

Haddish, who made it clear, “I’m doing it with Common,” said the couple met when the rapper was cast as her love interest in her 2019 film The Kitchen, though they were just friends at first, getting together occasionally to play the card game spades.

“Then he got tested for everything, I got tested for everything, and yeah, we’ve been f–king,” she laughed. The comedian said Common is her first celeb boyfriend and so far it is “hands down the best relationship” she’s ever had.

“I’ve lost 20 pounds since I’ve been in this relationship. I feel more confident in me and it’s not him that’s doing it,” she said. “I’m just way happier and it’s, like, knowing I got somebody that cares about me, that really has my back. It seems like he does anyways, and I love it. I love him.”
