There are a lot of fun costumes you could rock this weekend for Halloween. Like, say, Chris Pratt’s character from Jurassic World. Or a character from Mad Max, or the Avengers. Or even Nicki Minaj. But let’s all agree that if you are not black, YOU DON’T NEED TO PAINT YOURSELF BLACK TO PLAY NICKI MINAJ, OKAY?

October 31, 2015 is still four days away, but Americans have already started donning blackface to celebrate the occasion. This morning, an apparent student from Florida posted photos of herself dressed up as “Nicki Minaj” on Twitter.

The funny part is that the guy next to her seemed to understand that he didn’t need to be racist to dress up as a person of another race. He looks like Drake as much as she looks like Nicki, which is to say not at all, but at least he’s NOT PAINTED BLACK.

Good job, Florida. Always managing to outdo yourself in the f*&%ing idiot games.
